Hello! My name is Ed Zenisek. The last name is pronounced just like it looks (Zen-eh-sek), just in case you were wondering. I've been working on computers and web design in general for about 10 years. I've been working with digital imaging and art for about 3 years, and have just recently felt my art is good enough to begin putting up for public use. I really enjoy making images, but unfortunately I haven't had much of a chance to do so lately. When I'm not working on digital images, I'm usually relaxing with a good book, playing games, working on web sites, or reading forums on webmastering and astronomy. To be completely honest, I've always enjoyed creating things with computers, but I didn't get into digital art until I found Digital Blasphemy, a site by Ryan Bliss. If you get a chance, you should check him out - he's very good, and I aspire to be even half as talented as he is one day. His site is what inspired me to start dabbling. I began working with Poser and Bryce, and have since honed by skills in these applications, as well as using Photoshop to tweak my images. I'm now learning Carrara and Vue, and hope to soon be making images with these programs as well. I have a degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in Addison Illinois, and I graduated in March of 2003. I spent many years working in Casinos, however I really enjoy my current job as a Web Programmer and Database Administrator for New Mexico State University, office of the Vice President of Research. That's a nice long title, but it basically means I do the Web and Database work for the Research Office at NMSU... pretty cool stuff if you ask me. Check it out. I give a lot of credit to my parents for pushing me so hard to graduate and making me the person I am today. They're retired and living right down the road from me in New Mexico. While I do plan on making a small amount of income on the advertising on my site, I hope to always be able to keep my images free for public use. I know ads are annoying and cumbersome, but a site like this eats a lot of bandwidth, and that costs money. I'll never ask that you click on an ad for me, or require you to sign up for any advertiser's service to see my images though, because that upsets ME when I go somewhere to get something for 'free', so I won't do that to you. I really hope you enjoy my images, and come back often. You're more than welcome to bookmark my site, and to download as many images as you want. Tell your friends! :) Enjoy, and if you would like to drop me a line, go right ahead. -Ed Zenisek |
